Many even believe that being in the outdoors is a way of healing emotional ails. "The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature." Anne Frank.
Tomorrow, March 6, Buildipedia is attending the Central Ohio Home & Garden Show. First, to meet a few of the vendors, and secondly, to record some of the fresh new information that Jamie Durie, now the host of HGTV's The Outdoor Room, has to share. Durie wrote two books on the concept of an outdoor room. Take note that he uses the term, "room," rather than "space."
According to Durie, a backyard outdoor oasis should be enclosed and private so that the homeowners can fully relax. Of course the Go Green Channel is also excited about the fact that he incorporates environmentalism as much as is possible into every design.
Don't miss Jamie Durie at the Home Idea Center Stage at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 6, 2010. He will be signing autographs after each appearance.
