The NCAA Basketball Tournament begins this weekend; some call this the best sporting weekend of year (a sentiment this sports junkie completely agrees with). But what does basketball have to do with the On Site channel? The University of Louisville’s new downtown arena! Not only are Cardinal fans eager for March Madness to begin, but they are also anxiously awaiting the completion of their basketball team's new home.

The residents and businesses of Columbus, Ohio have another chance to capitalize on an incredible opportunity. The Columbus Dispatch recently reported that NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon will team up with Arshot Investment Corp to propose plans for a racing facility at the existing vacant Cooper Stadium. Cooper Stadium has been vacant since the Columbus Clippers moved to their new home at Huntington Park at the end of the 2008 season. There is no doubt this project will provide the economic jump-start that this part of town needs.

The construction site is a grueling, tough, demanding, arduous, and oftentimes severe place to make a living. It’s pretty safe to say that most of us choose this line of work because of our passion for the craft and the personal satisfaction we get from bringing to life an idea of lines and text from a sheet of paper. There is this flow of energy and talent that each of us provides, with an end result that will be seen and used by many.  Oftentimes these buildings and structures will be around for many years to come.  In this industry we are all part of a team, and without each of our specialties the final product could not exist.
